What the organizing committee of PODE 2027 does with the data you send us, and what this website stores in your browser.

Who is responsible

Mathematical Society of Sarajevo Canton, Zmaja od Bosne 33-35, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina — the organizer of Progress on Difference Equations (PODE 2027) — is responsible for the data described here. For anything on this page, write to pode27@pmf.unsa.ba.

What we collect, and why

Only what you type into the registration form, and only in order to run the conference: to put together the program and the book of abstracts, to issue an invoice for the registration fee, to arrange catering and the social program, and to write to you about the conference.

  1. 01Name, affiliation, country, e-mail, phone
    — to identify you as a participant and to be able to reach you.
  2. 02Type of participation, title, co-authors, abstract
    — for the program, the book of abstracts and the decision of the scientific committee.
  3. 03Address, city, postal code, invoice data
    — only if you asked for an invoice, and only to write that invoice.
  4. 04Arrival and departure, dietary requirements, comments
    — for catering, the social program and any request you made.
  5. 05Your presentation
, if the organizers publish one for you — it is offered for download next to your talk.

What is published, and what is not

On the participants page we publish your name, affiliation and the title of your talk, and a link to your presentation if one was uploaded — and only if you agreed to it in the registration form. You can refuse this when you register or ask us to remove it later; you stay a participant either way.

Photographs. Pictures are taken during the conference and some are published in the gallery and in reports about the meeting. We do this only for people who checked the photograph box in the registration form. That box is separate from the one above, so agreeing to appear on the participants page does not mean agreeing to appear in photographs, and neither is checked for you in advance. If you did not answer the question, we treat it as a no.

Your e-mail address, phone number, postal address, invoice data, dietary requirements and comments are never published. They are seen only by the organizing committee.

Changing your mind. Both answers are yours to change at any time, and withdrawing is meant to be as easy as agreeing was: open the personal link from your confirmation e-mail, uncheck the box and save, or write to us and we will do it. Withdrawing does not affect anything we published while the consent stood, and you stay a participant either way.

How long we keep it

Until the conference has been closed and accounted for, and after that only what the organizer has to keep for its financial records. The published list of participants stays online as part of the record of the conference series, unless you ask us to remove your entry.

Your rights

Write to pode27@pmf.unsa.ba to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to withdraw a consent you gave. Withdrawing the consent for publication removes you from the participants page; it does not cancel your registration.

Cookies

This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It stores exactly two cookies, both first-party:

Cookie Lifetime What it is for
pode_cookies 12 months Remembers the choice you made in the cookie notice, so you are not asked again. It is only set once you answer.
pode_admin 8 hours The sign-in session of the organizers in the administration panel. A visitor never gets this cookie.

Content from other sites

Everything on this site, including the typefaces, is served from this server. One thing can be loaded from elsewhere, and only if you allow it, which means that service would see your IP address:

  1. 01The map of the venue
(OpenStreetMap). It is not loaded until you allow it: on the venue page you see a placeholder with a button, and you can always open the map in a new tab instead.
